Our nearby grocery store has a "Spend $50+, Get $10 Off" special almost every Thursday. When this promotion began it was a big deal. People would empty the shelves like a pack of hungry beagles. Lately it seems slower, like it is any other day. Has the novelty wore off? I’d guess that over the course of a year we save $300 on groceries by shopping on Thursdays. Why not? Why would anyone shop there on Tuesdays or Wednesdays? I understand if someone can only make it on the weekend, but the other weekdays…?
