Can You Find a Used Car That Lasts 10 Years For $3K-$7K?

Parsing The Financial News: Black Friday Sales Up 3%

Already, people are seeing the “Black Friday +3%” headlines and declaring an end to recession. I’m skeptical. In my mind, the little information we DO know only serves to highlight how much we DON’T know. (I don’t say it as an exercise in idle pessimism… I’m considering shorting consumer sectors, if sentiment get unrealistic.)

PFblogs vs. PFmagazines

Reflecting on the most useful sources of financial information, I’m re-realizing that not all "pfblogs" are blogs per se. Many are, or try to be, more like magazines ("pfmags"). As such, they take on the weaknesses of tradional magazines.
Why I find myself looking towards pfblogs over pfmags, IMO:
pfmags - the content must fit the format
