
Overheard at the gas station, between a busy mom and her very young boy:

Mom: “What do you need?” Child: “Do you have money?” Mom: “Yes.” Child: “Do you have a lot of money?” Mom: “What do you need?” |
It struck me as having a kind of poetic symmetry.
We start at need, "boomerang" away into off-topic, and arrive back at need.
