If you’re looking for something fun and free to do this weekend, consider taking advantage of “Museum Day Live!” on Saturday.

Not sure what I’m talking about? Well…

Smithsonian Magazine is sponsoring free entry to select museums for one day only. They do this every year, and this year’s rendition will take place tomorrow (Sept 28, 2013). Participating museums can be found here.

For what it’s worth, I just checked our area and found several nearby museums that are taking part in this promo. Hopefully you’ll find something of interest.

To participate, you’ll need to print out a (free) ticket. To do that, go here.

Note that this ticket is required for free admission, and that it’s good for up to two people (limit one ticket per household). That’s it. Have fun!

Thanks for the reminder! This could be a great way to spend an afternoon with family or friends.

Yeah, we’re tied up tomorrow and thus won’t be able to take advantage of this. But it’s a good deal if you can.
