Money Roundup: Helicopter Parenting Edition

This is kind of random, but earlier this evening I ran across an article about a guy who has perfected the art of helicopter parenting. Literally.

He’s modified a “quadcopter” to follow a GPS chip in his son’s backpack and stream video of the morning trek to the bus stop. Seriously? If he’s so worried, would it kill him to take a stroll with his son?

And what if a kidnapper rolls up on his? Unless he weaponizes the chopper (now that would be cool) he won’t be able to do anything other than watch the trouble unfold. And then kick himself for the rest of his life for being so darn lazy.
