Poll: Would You Rather Have 10% Inflation or 10% Deflation?

Posted by Sean | Posted under Economics, Polls | September 8, 2008

Inspired by the “Would You Rather” category at BudgetsAreSexy.com

If you could have one or the other, 10% inflation or 10% deflation, no middle ground, which one would you choose? Both ‘flations here mean an overall rise or fall in the level of prices for goods and services.

If you do not vote, the outcome for the U.S. economy will be left to a coin flip. 8-O

So do your patriotic duty and get out the vote! Think prices are way too high? Vote them down! Think high prices are more bearable than the alternatives? Keep them up! You do not need to be an economics major to vote… this stuff affects everyone.

(This is the first poll @ FR, so please vote and help test the plugin. Thanks.)

Would you rather have 10% inflation or 10% deflation?

The plug-in worked great for me! Interesting question - I would love to hear what the final results are.

I would love to vote but it won’t let me … but if I could vote, I would vote for the the “I have no idea” category.

Hmmm… is anyone else unable to vote?
