Should “Invest” and “Auto” Be Used in the Same Sentence?

Posted by Sean | Posted under Cars, Craigslist, Foo | May 12, 2008

These financial outliers brough to you by the one-and-only craigslist.org

Now, I’m not saying people should never spend money customizing their autos. I know people who tinker in a variety of ways, and they seem to enjoy it. More power to them.

But can we drop the word invested and replace it with something more accurate?

invest - to commit (money or capital) in order to gain a financial return

p.s. - the most statistically-probable text in these ads = “NEED CASH FAST”
